San Antonio ISD schools have served the heart of the Alamo City for more than 100 years. Today, the district serves about 47,000 students across more than 90 schools.
To ensure students have world-class learning spaces, including larger classrooms that meet or exceed state guidelines, San Antonio ISD (SAISD) has passed more than $1 billion in bonds since 2020. These funds are being used to construct new schools, consolidate campuses, replace and enhance aging buildings, as well as to make other renovations and improvements.
